When I was 16 or so a blade broke off the ceiling fan in my bedroom and landed directly on my pillow. I had just woken up and was in the shower when it happened and came back to find it like that. If I’d slept in just a few minutes I would’ve taken that fan blade right to my head.
I think it would be closest to say that the emphasis is on both the men and the tary. I wish we could post audio clips on here, I’d just record myself saying it. Doc-u-MEN-TARY.

The tary pronounced like Terry. Apparently this is unusual outside of this region.

I’ve noticed a lot of weird comments taking extremely obvious jokes entirely literally but as the others have said there’s an abundance of autists here so it’s hard to say.
Artwork, hobbies, videos, cooking, health. Some of these are present in some form on here but not to significant volume or to my particular tastes. And many more things that have no presence on Lemmy at all.
Personally I use reddit a lot more than lemmy. My interests aren’t well represented here on lemmy. Still come here sometimes though.
What gets me is when I set to sort results by top, 1 month (for example) and it shows posts from 2 years ago
