It’s kinda nice, we’re big enough to have a fair amount of content, but small enough that it still kinda feels like a community.

I heard about it on Reddit, I have a pretty good diet, haven’t ever needed, or known anyone that needed, a poop knife
Thanks! I knew about the EU rule, and I’d heard they’re basically maliciously complying?
Also, off topic, funny that you replied to this at probably the exact same time I was reading one of your comments in a different thread. Was a really well thought out comment, and I appreciated your take. 👍
Feels kinda like home dunnit? Two broke arms, coconut, poop knife. Better?
Huawei is highly controversial in the EU. The Chinese network supplier is considered a potential security risk for mobile networks.
Aren’t mobile networks notoriously insecure?
Yes!
That’s the same picture.
There’s been a lot of cases at the start of transplant tech where people have willingly gone through the surgery, knowing they would almost certainly die, and their living 100days was counted as a massive success.
The fact this guy lived 100 days, got a donor heart, and is still, currently, alive… that’s icing.
I run Windows on one of my systems because of gaming and the rest run Linux because fuck you Microsoft
See, I made the full switch late last year, dual booted for over a decade, but just couldn’t cut out the games that wouldn’t run on Linux. When they announced EoL for W10, and then started adding more and more and more useless anti-user “improvements” to 11, I bit the bullet. Turns out, there’s really very little that I want to run that doesn’t either have a native package, or runs fine with wine/bottles/proton. (By fine I do mean, as good or better than in Windows) And there’s the added bonus of my wife thinking I installed “Update Simulator OS: Arch-based Edition” (btw)
My wife recently discovered that her 2017 MacBook Air was no longer receiving updates. I’m trying to convince her to try Linux first before buying a new one. Her big sticking point, ironically I think, is if I can get M365 running on it. Her and her mum share the cost of a family plan, as they both use it for work.
Cool, rare instance of my memory not being completely shot 👍
Depends on what you mean by forever. Who knows what tomorrow brings. We could be smashed back to the stone age, and effectively extinct, sometime next week.
Had an old phone, around when smartphones started being a thing. Emergency services was #08. And with keys locked, # 0 and 8 were the only keys that would register. Literally couldn’t have it in my pocket. Had to keep it in my bag. Probably 20 calls to emergency service before I figured out that those keys didn’t lock.
I believe that apple restricted other browser makers to using safari mobile as a base. Not sure if that’s true/changed, but I’m too lazy to look it up. So maybe take that with a helping of salt.
Not like that!
Love it!
If libertarians could read, they’d be devastated!
That’s the thing. They always were shit, just with Trump’s War on Woke, they now feel like the money they’ve always spent on good will of the public, DEI programs, keeping a muzzle on the racist/misogynistic/bigoted person running the company isn’t really needed. Now all that “wasted” money can go where it belongs…into shareholder profits.
shudder fuck the pipes, won’t someone think of the poor plumbers that have to come deal with poopknife family homes?
