To answer the title question, you work out your body. That specifics of that question highly depends on your current situation. Like age, current fitness level, what you are training for (strength, cardio, weight loss, etc), and what you have access to.

PeteWheeler@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If someone where to use the term "Adult Playground", what would you think it describes?21·21 days agoI would hope that it would just be a playground just for adults. Don’t know why people just lose their spark for playground shenanigans in age. I would love to climb and jump around again. But there isn’t any place for that for adults.

PeteWheeler@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Still booting after all these years: The people stuck using ancient Windows computersEnglish91·2 months agoI would still be using Windows 7 if it was safe to connect to the internet.
I can’t believe government systems are just open to cyber security like that.
Are there not cyber terrorists for some teenager that has tried to do anything with these unsecured systems?
Ideally: Stand up and go for a walk or my stretching routine. Usually ends the tiredness.
Realistically: Balatro

Yeah there wasn’t much. Only thing I heard about was a restaurant with marg deals and giving out small cute sombrero hats.
PeteWheeler@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•I avoid approaching women in public because I believe it's inappropriate. My parents say that it's a necessary skill. Who is right?15·2 months agoIt is an important skill and confidence booster to approach people in general in public. If you are uncomfortable with women, then start with men.
If that is still uncomfortable, then that means you are uncomfortable to talking with strangers in general. Unfortunately, experience is the only way to combat this. Start small with chit chat in lines, compliment people on their shoes, etc.
I am currently 29 but work in payroll retirement auditing. So I actually know a little about people not retiring.
I work in the education system, and people who work in the education/public sector have a HARD time not coming back to work. Our retirement agencies have gotten stricter and stricter with retirees working after retirement.
Why? Well people who work in public and education system usually work their entire life in the industry. Especially teachers and admin. And they honestly don’t know what to do with themselves. They don’t know how to handle freedom.
They have been institutionalized. If you have seen shawshank redemption you will have a good understanding of what that means. Here’s a quick clip from the movie.
PeteWheeler@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How are Americans preparing for the Trumpist supply shock?51·2 months agoI have read testimonies from other people who have gone through economic/political instability and hardship. What i got out of it is that prepping will help for a week to a month maybe. But after that preppers just feel dumb after that as all that work didn’t mean much long term.
The only thing that universally matters is having community ties. Unfortunately… USA aren’t very community friendly or even have the opportunity to create strong local bonds. As all community events are during work hours so only retired people part take in those.

That being said, I usually won’t the closer I am to home/on my main commute. Why? Because I’m driving next to the same people every day. The same work truck with a giant butterfly on it and that one dumb ass looking cyber truck. Along with the other 100 other commuters the same day.

PeteWheeler@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do you plan to cool down your apartment this summer?9·3 months agoIt really just depends on your climate, geography, and infrastructure.
Where is I was raised, it would be consistently 90-100 Fahrenheit throughout the summer. And one week that was always up to 110.
I had no ac, but a constant broken swamp cooler. So basically no real ac.
In the mornings and night when it did become cool, you would open all the windows and doors for the air and wind to blow through, and then about 9am you would close the windows and blinds and deal with the heat.
Sleeping through the worst parts of the heat is not a bad idea.
PeteWheeler@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•We now have undeniable proof that one of your core beliefs is objectively wrong. Which one do you think it is and what is the new difficult truth for you to swallow?173·4 months agoThat people’s ‘default’ morality is ‘good’.
It isn’t. It is actually pure apathy and only do we get taught, groomed, learn, decide, etc. about morality.
If that is true, then some people are actually ‘better’ and ‘worse’ than others. If so, then my entire outlook on human life will need to change. Don’t know to what, but that is the existential threat.
Recently had to come to the conclusion, that even though I have never ‘tried’ to learn, observe, or otherwise be smart, that I am well above average intelligence to those immediately around me. This is beyond infuriating. How can I be ‘better’ than everyone on average without even trying? It infuriates me to no end.
PeteWheeler@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What would your idea of a Heaven and a Hell be?1·4 months agoInteresting ideas.
My idea of Heaven: no place, but reincarnation. That way all the ‘good’ people will be inhabiting the earth. They have the opportunity to be evil in that life, and then they would go to hell. If they keep continuing to be good, they keep getting reincarnated.
My idea of Hell: Nothing. Just pure death.
What would the criteria of going to heaven or hell? No idea.

Highly recommend Jellyfin on your NAS. Sounds like that is what your looking for. Very straight forward and easy to implement compared to other self host options.
Essentially, vid files located on your nas, and then any device on your wifi can stream the vids.
If your looking for your own personal netflix, jellyfin is your answer.
