Make sure you delete the banned accounts or Reddit will just keep spamming you with emails.

Yeah I appealed countless times for my offense. I “abused the report button”, apparently when you’re in an argument and the other party has resorted to personal attacks, that’s not the time to push the report button.

Who gives a PERMA BAN for something like that?

I do miss reddit, mainly because the Sonic, DBD, and other niche interest boards aren’t active on Lemmy

The more I see other people who were banned from Reddit for no reason, the better I feel about my own banning.

Apparently when you’re in an argument and the other person is using personal attacks, that’s NOT the time to use the report button. Just deleted the account, it was banned anyway.

I just deleted my Reddit account, it’s no good to me since they banned my account for “Abusing the report button” and wouldn’t unban it no matter how many appeals I sent in. Part of me thought, maybe they’d unban it some day, but… naw… better to just walk away

I hope it goes the way of YTMND and becomes a distant memory. Although with YTMND my memories are at least pleasant.

I just hope someday the “Niche Interest” sublemmies become more active

I got told I couldn’t get a tax return because they flagged me for potential fraud, so I have to go to ID.me to verify… but then my account got banned while trying to verify my information.

I was hoping Ken Penders would follow through on his threat to sue Paramount over Locke and Enerjak technically showing up in the Sonic 2 movie. (Characters who aren’t named, but have the same role as Locke and Enerjak show up… Wouldn’t matter if they were straight up wearing name tags saying “My name is Locke/My name is Enerjak”, the idea that Ken actually won his lawsuits is debunked fiction.)

Seriously, I wanted to see a judge explain to him that no he doesn’t own Knuckles or any Sonic character for that matter. And part of that is that “Settling out of court and being tossed some “Fuck off” money” and “Winning the lawsuit and naming your own terms to be obeyed and altered at your leisure” are two entirely different concepts… With the latter not really a thing outside of deluded day dreams.
