Exactly. It could be back to the level it was 1 month ago in 1 month from now if Trump does a complete 180 to his approach (doubtful and yet somewhat still believable) just like it could take 10 years.

In any healthy democracy, this would have been seen as a scandal exposing signs of corruption and would have likely resulted in the dissolution of the government and early election.
But the US is not a healthy democracy.
