    Charlie’s job was propaganda. He laundered the fascist ideology into mainstream discourse. If my coworker said some of the awful shit Charlie said, I’d just think he was a racist piece of shit, but I wouldn’t celebrate his murder (nor would I mourn it). But Charlie had an audience of millions, and was paid handsomely to spread his fascist propaganda. I opened my nicest bottle of scotch when I heard the news.

              In what world is celebrating someone’s assasination the same as not giving a fuck about someone’s opinion?
