I’m guessing it wouldn’t be a valid legal argument, but I liked the thought experiment of claiming that it can’t be piracy if the rights holder is intentionally publicly sharing the content. Like trying to charge trick-or-treaters for theft when they took candy out of the bowl you left out with a “Free!” sign attached.

Anyone upvoting or engaging with this, be less gullible please. Even if this wasn’t spam/scam posting what does it have to do with self-hosting?

What am I missing that indicates this belongs in this community? I don’t see anything showing the purchaser supporting leopards that have now turned against them. Thinking maybe the username was a clue, top DDG results indicate “goucher” might refer to Goucher College in MD, a private liberal arts college.
